Meet Ariane, the New Face of Our Website
The WhatsApp number on our website now belongs to an AI Front Desk — Ariane. She runs on our own product, Snappy Front Desk: she answers questions about SnapLedger, points finance and tax questions to Insights, and books real meetings in real free slots. She never invents a price, never fakes a booking, and when something is beyond her, she says so and offers the next step. Come say hi — hard questions welcome.
This week, our website gained a new colleague, and I'd like to introduce her properly: Ariane.
Open the site, and in the places where we publish our contact details you'll find the same WhatsApp number. Behind that number is no longer a "leave us a message" mailbox — it's Ariane, an AI Front Desk, online 24/7, replying in whichever language you write to her.
What can she do?
Ask about the product, and she has the answers. Our homepage, About page and Pricing page are all in her knowledge base, so questions about the company, the features and the prices are answered straight from the website — not from vague impressions.
Ask about finance or tax, and she won't play the expert. For finance, tax and regulatory questions she points you to the corresponding article in Insights — each one carries its effective and review dates and is kept up to date — and then offers to book you a meeting with the team.
Book a meeting, and she means it. Ariane is connected to the team's shared calendar and offers you real free slots; once you pick one, the system creates the meeting and sends the meeting link — none of that "someone will get back to you" brush-off. Rather not share your e-mail? No problem — she'll send you the booking page so you can pick a time yourself.
What she cannot do matters just as much.
She never invents a price, a fact or a date. If a reply ever contains an unfilled placeholder, that reply simply never goes out. When she says "let me check on that," the conversation is flagged for a human colleague to follow up at the same time — she keeps the conversation, but she never pretends she can answer everything.
Want a formal company introduction? She won't throw a slide deck at you over chat — she'll book you a meeting, because a proper introduction is a conversation.
Why does this deserve a diary entry?
Because Ariane is not a demo, and not a custom project built for a client — she runs on our own product, Snappy Front Desk, and she receives visitors on our own website. We put our own front desk to work first, as we always do: e-invoicing was the same, and so is Front Desk.
Before going live, she sat through eight rounds of scenario exams: simulated customers asking about prices, calling us expensive, comparing us to rival products, pressing about data security, firing off three messages in the middle of the night… Whatever she failed, we fixed and re-tested. Only after eight rounds did she step onto the website.
And Ariane will tell you herself: she runs on Snappy Front Desk. Which means your business can have one too — an AI front desk that remembers returning customers, answers product questions, books real meetings, and never exaggerates. Businesses can have one; corporate service providers can use one to receive their own clients.
So go to the website and say hi. Ask about the product, the pricing, "is my data safe?" — or simply ask her, "how do I get one of you?" Ask the hard questions; she can take them. And when she can't, she'll honestly tell you what the next step is.
A good front desk doesn't answer every question — it gives every question a next step.
What makes Ariane special is not that she is AI, but how she is constrained: her knowledge comes from the website and a knowledge base, meetings come from the calendar's real free slots, and what she cannot answer becomes a next step instead of an invention. A trustworthy AI front desk is built one engineering detail at a time.
If a visitor asked your website a question late at night that you have never been asked before, what kind of 'person' would you want to receive them?
A good front desk doesn't answer every question — it gives every question a next step.
