Making Snappy More Thoughtful

From Meet Snappy to Meet the Tool, and now Snappy of the Day: Snappy no longer just introduces features — it learns from your usage trail to anticipate what you'll need most at your next login, and helps you take that step naturally, at the right moment.

At the very beginning, we designed Meet Snappy: when a user signs up for SnapLedger for the first time, Snappy greets them with a short welcome that introduces all the ways it can help.

Later, we added Meet the Tool. The first time a user opens a particular tool, Snappy shows up on its own and explains, in plain language, what the tool does and how to get started.

Now, I want Snappy to take one more step forward: not just introducing features, but truly understanding what the user needs next.

Snappy continuously keeps up with SnapLedger's latest tools and capabilities. At the same time, it knows which features each user has already used, which tasks they have completed, and which important items are still outstanding. Based on these usage trails, Snappy can intelligently infer the action a user most needs to take the next time they log in — and directly offer the relevant suggestion and tool entry point.

We call this new experience Snappy of the Day.

Every time a user logs in, they receive a prompt tied to their current situation. It might be a reminder to upload a missing document, to finish preparing a filing, to review unmatched transactions — or an introduction to a brand-new tool that happens to fit them perfectly.

Recently, we welcomed our first freelancer user from Switzerland. After some initial testing, he told us the Meet Snappy experience was intuitive and easy to get started with — and that he is very much looking forward to SnapLedger fully supporting the social security, VAT, and tax workflows for Swiss freelancers.

This feedback further confirmed our design direction: a good AI assistant should not simply wait for questions, nor should it give the same explanation every time. It should know what the product can do today, understand how far each user has come, and — at the right moment — help them naturally complete the most important next step.

That is the Snappy we want to build: not only smarter, but more thoughtful.
