Give Your Receipts Their Own Email Address
Hunting receipts through your inbox at month-end is one of the most deflating jobs there is — the DEWA bill here, a supplier's PDF buried who knows where. So we built an address you choose yourself, like acme@snap-ledger.ai: every receipt emailed there imports itself, and every email is also copied, untouched, to a backup mailbox you own. You can even hand the address straight to your vendors. Receipts shouldn't be a treasure hunt.
One of the most deflating jobs at month-end is hunting receipts through your inbox.
The DEWA bill lives in one mailbox. The SaaS subscription invoice lives in another. The PDF your supplier sent is buried in some thread you can't find anymore. Every receipt was "received" — yet when you actually need them, none of them are where you can reach them.
Beyond Gmail, there are a lot of people
The Gmail connector in SnapConnect fixed part of this — connect it once, and receipt emails import themselves. But not everyone lives in Gmail. Some people run on Outlook, some on a corporate mailbox, and for many, the most important bills come straight from supplier portals anyway.
So we built something more direct: your own receipts-only email address.
You pick the address. The backup copy never turns off.
On the email connect page, you choose an address for yourself — say acme@snap-ledger.ai. You pick the name; first come, first served. Setup is two steps: choose the address, then tell us your own mailbox for backup copies.
From then on, every receipt emailed to that address enters SnapLedger's ingestion pipeline automatically — the exact same processing path as anything you photograph, upload, or pull in through Gmail.
But here's the part we insisted on: every email is first copied, untouched, to your own backup mailbox. However smart our filtering gets, there must never be a chance that "the system swallowed it." Your receipts always keep a copy somewhere you can see with your own eyes.
Hand the address straight to your vendors
Here's the real way to use it: next time DEWA, Etisalat, or any SaaS vendor asks for your billing email, give them your SnapLedger address.
From that month on, their bills walk into SnapLedger on their own — with a copy landing in your mailbox as the record. No forwarding, no downloading, no remembering.
If you're an individual on a paid plan, it's included in your subscription — just switch it on. Business users can add it monthly or yearly. And if pricing isn't open in your country yet, the page will tell you that plainly instead of leaving you guessing.
Receipts shouldn't be a treasure hunt. Give them a permanent home — and let them walk the rest of the way on their own.
The point of a receipts-only inbox isn't one more address — it's that everything landing there goes through the exact same ingestion pipeline as the Gmail connector: same classification, same dedup, same human-review discipline. A new entrance must never mean a lower standard; however many doors we add, the rules stay the same.
How many places are your receipts scattered across right now? If you could give vendors one 'just send it here' address, which ones would you switch first?
Receipts shouldn't be a treasure hunt. Give them a permanent home, and let them walk the rest of the way on their own.
