Finding customers with Snappy Front Desk · Lesson 4 of 5
Your first e-mail, tested on you
1:22 · Captions: English, Arabic, French and Chinese.
A first e-mail that reads like a mail-merge gets deleted. In this lesson, Yusuf sets up Harbour Gate's — and sends it to himself before anyone else sees it.
What you'll learn
- Set up the first e-mail with each firm's details
- Send it to yourself first
- Know what comes next
Step by step
- Snappy can write it — Every first e-mail starts as a template. Snappy can write one for you: hold the mic, say who you're writing to and why, and Snappy reads what you've taught it about your business and drafts the e-mail. For this campaign, Yusuf sets up the e-mail from the campaign page.
- A saved introduction — Harbour Gate already has an introduction it likes, so he picks it from the saved templates. Fields fill in each firm's own details — its name, and the person's name when Snappy knows it.
- One small change — One small change for this campaign, and it's ready. Saved — the campaign has its e-mail.
- Test it on yourself — Now the test: the real e-mail, exactly as a firm will receive it, sent to his own address. No lead is touched. It's on its way to Yusuf's inbox.
- What comes next — When he's happy with it, the next step sends a small test batch to a few of the firms, and Go live then sends the rest a few at a time, building up day by day. Those are steps he takes when he's ready.
An e-mail you've read as your prospects will, before it goes anywhere. Next: when a firm answers.
