Buying with Snappy Purchaser · Lesson 2 of 4

A shortlist you can check

1:25 · Captions: English, Arabic, French and Chinese.

A marketplace search gives you hundreds of listings: copies of the same product, dead links, prices that can't be real. Sorting them takes an afternoon. In this lesson, Yusuf sees what Snappy kept — and why.

What you'll learn

  • Read the shortlist and the evidence behind it
  • Open the Progress Report
  • See what Snappy left out, and why

Step by step

  1. The search — First, the search itself: what Snappy looked for, where, how many listings it found, and how many it kept.
  2. The shortlist — Every supplier on the shortlist comes with facts Yusuf can check: the price range, the minimum order, any certificates, and a link to the listing itself. The label beside each name says how much evidence the listing carries: strong, fair or unrated. It's never a made-up score.
  3. The Progress Report — For the whole story, there's the Progress Report: one document, prepared by Snappy, that Yusuf can keep or share. Each supplier has a line from Snappy on why it made the list — checked against Yusuf's own words, and his photo.
  4. What was left out — And nothing is hidden. Every listing Snappy left out is at the back, with the reason it was left out.
  5. Every supplier — Every supplier Snappy finds is also kept in one list, with a link back to its listing. Yusuf has a shortlist he can check for himself.

Next: Snappy writes to a factory and asks for the price.
