Your accountant can keep your books

Some freelancers would rather a professional kept the books. In this lesson, an accountant at Harbour Gate, the firm from our partner course, takes on a freelancer client.

What you'll learn

  • See an accountant take on a freelancer client
  • How the client's papers reach the firm
  • Where the client sits in the firm's portal

Step by step

  1. The firm's portal — Amira runs Harbour Gate's clients from the Partner Portal.
  2. A freelancer client — She adds a new client: an individual, in the United Arab Emirates.
  3. Set up on her behalf — She sets the client up on her behalf: her name, and the terms, accepted for her.
  4. Her permit, read — Then the freelance permit, the same paper Nadia uploaded herself in lesson one. Snappy reads it, and her freelancer profile is ready.
  5. In the firm's books — Back in the portal, the firm's new client sits beside its companies: a freelancer in the UAE, with her books kept by people she trusts.

Back to where we started. One permit set up her books, her invoices go out right, every payment matched to its paper, the VAT return comes from her books, companies can find her, and when she'd rather not do it herself, an accountant can keep them. Start your free trial at snap-ledger.ai.
