No more quotation templates for every client. On SnapLedger, a quotation comes straight from the project — so when the client says yes, the invoice is one step away.
What you'll learn
- Quote a client from the project
- Send it by email, from SnapLedger
- Mark it approved and turn it into an invoice
No more quotation templates for every client. On SnapLedger, a quotation comes straight from the project — so when the client says yes, the invoice is one step away. Qamar Bay's requirement is captured, so Amira exits the first phase, and the project moves on to Scoping and Design.
Step by step
- Quote the customer — On the Scoping and Design card, she chooses Quote customer, then a simple quotation — a short list of lines. Qamar Bay is already on it. She adds Harbour Gate's services — the mainland LLC set-up, two investor visas, and the bank account introduction — and the government fees Qamar Bay pays up front, marked as a disbursement: the client's own money. Qamar Bay reads English, so she sets the document language to English. For UAE companies, it starts in Arabic. Then Create and Issue. The quotation gets its number, and its PDF is filed in the project.
- Send it — Back on the project, Send emails the quotation to Qamar Bay's contact as a PDF, straight from SnapLedger — and the row shows the day it went out.
- Customer approved — Qamar Bay accepts. Amira marks the quotation Customer Approved, and SnapLedger asks: convert it to an invoice?
- The invoice — She does, and the quotation's lines carry over. Her services are invoiced when the work is done, so this first invoice is the government-fee advance alone. English again, then Issue Now — and it's in the books.
- Into Implementation — Back on the Board, she exits Scoping and Design. The project is in Implementation, and every line of the quotation is on the Timeline as a work item.
Next: the Runner — the PRO who brings receipts back from government offices.
