Your team: operator seats
1:40 · Captions: English, Arabic, French and Chinese.
Growing a team shouldn't mean sharing passwords. On SnapLedger, each person has their own login, and you give them an operator seat: access to your company's books, with the rights you choose — and you can take it back at any time. In this lesson, Harbour Gate's accountant, Yusuf, gets a seat.
What you'll learn
- Invite an operator and choose their rights
- How they accept, with their own login
- Change, pause or remove access
Step by step
- The Operators card — In her company profile, Amira opens the account menu, then Business Details. The Operators card shows every seat — who has it, and how many are left.
- Invite Yusuf — She chooses Add Operator and enters Yusuf's email. Then his rights: Yusuf needs the Finance Tools and the documents in My Vault, but not HR Tools — so that one stays off. Send invitation.
- Yusuf accepts — Yusuf receives an email. When he signs in with his own login, his profile list shows: Invited to operate Harbour Gate. He chooses Review. Accept invitation — and Harbour Gate opens for him, with the rights Amira chose. HR Tools is greyed out. If he tries it, SnapLedger tells him his access is disabled, and to ask the profile owner.
- Manage access — Back on the Operators card, Amira sees Yusuf's access, and when he was last active.
Access changes his rights at any time. Disable pauses his seat, and the bin removes it — a removed person loses access at once. Make team admin lets someone remove people, while only Amira can add them. Next: Snappy PM, where Harbour Gate runs its client work.
