Statements of account
1:02 · Captions: English, Arabic, French and Chinese.
No more statements put together by hand. A statement of account shows a client everything you've invoiced, everything they've paid, and what's still open — straight from the books.
What you'll learn
- Read a project's statement
- Download and file the SOA
- Make a statement for any client and period
Step by step
- The statement, in place — For one engagement, the project's Money tab shows the statement of account right here: the invoices, the payments, and the closing balance. So far, the government-fee advance — invoiced, and paid in cash: the account is square.
- Download SOA — Download SOA makes the PDF to send to the client, and files a copy in the project's Financial folder.
- Customer SOA — For a client's whole account, across every project, Customer SOA under ERP Tools does the same for any period: pick the customer and the dates, then Generate statement.
Next: the bank — and how SnapLedger keeps it matched with the books.
